Locus™ Field Test Phase

Prior to scaling to meet commercial volumes, Management plans to conduct a field test of Locus™ with 200 + vehicles operating in real world conditions. The test will focus on vetting the following system features:

  • Execution of unique identifier and the Bluetooth connectivity to the driver’s cell phone.
  • Rider detection and transmission of the verbal prompts to the rider’s cell phone.
  • Acceptance by the National Federation of the Blind and National Association for the Deaf.
  • Functionality of dynamic messaging for car pooling, designated pick-up points, messaging, etc.
  • Emergency Notification System – A hidden wireless button, activated by the driver, immediately forces a flashing message – “CALL POLICE”.
  • A switch located on the back of Locus™ activates a “MEDICAL EMERGENCY” notification.

Investment and Use of Proceeds

Funding – $2 million to finance the final stages of engineering, tooling and to commence production for ride share company field testing. Followed by national production scale up and promotion.
